Administrative Service Charge

The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Atlanta, wishes to inform the general public that following a recent Presidental directives on the implementation of Administrative Charges at all Nigerian Missions abroad, for effective management and efficient service delivery at the Missions, the Consulate General has concluded arrangements for the restoration/review of administrative Charges on the Services it renders to applicants.

For clarity purposes, the Consulate wishes to list hereunder, the items of services with corresponding charges payable by applicants who apply for the services:

1. PASSPORT: Fresh Issue/Renewal. $30
2. PASSPORT: Same Day Appointment for Biometrics. $100
3. PASSPORT: Expedited (24-48 Hrs. production and issue). (Not yet implemented) $100
4. Lost Passport (Caution Fee) $370
5. Letter of Certification of Passport $50
6. Emergency Travel Certificate (E.T.C.): (i) with expired (Nig.)Passport    – (ii) Without Passport (Lost Passport) $150 $250
7. VISA: Based on reciprocity
8. Authentication of Documents $30 Per Document
9. Authentication of Free Sales Certificate $100
10. Letter to Police for Character Certificate $30
11. Repatriation/Shipment of Human Remains $30
12. Letter of Life Identification (issued to Nigerian Retirees). Gratis

Please note that above charges supersede fees charged by the  Consulate before now.

Implementation of the above-listed Administrative Charges/Fees will take effect from Monday, 18th January, 2021.

The mode of payment shall be via Point of Sale (PoS) with Debit Card only or Money Order properly addressed to the Nigeria Consulate, Atlanta and presented to the officer in charge.
